SM Rosales, Santa Claus of 3 kids!

The Valdez siblings Precia Mae, 6; Joan, 8; and Marvin, 11 from an indigent family in Bacag East, Villasis bestowed their Christmas wish which is to experience SM.
“Their wish is to go to SM because the kids said they do not know what’s inside SM” Ms. Maria Agnes Coller, Principal of Bacag East Elementary School related. Ms. Coller added that these kids despite their empty stomach most of the time are still dedicated to their studies. “In fact Joan Valdez, Grade 2 pupil, belongs to Top 3”, she stated.
Ms. Coller then wrote to SM City Rosales for the kid’s Christmas wish. SM City Rosales Mall Manager -Engr. Jersey Mendoza said that this is the first time that they have received such generous letter and so the management have planned treats for the kids and also to their family. “We make sure that they will enjoy their stay here in SM and so we make it worth remembering” Engr. Mendoza added.
The kids were brought to SM City Rosales not knowing that their mother and two other siblings were waiting for them. Their father according to Mrs. Precy Valdez did not make it because he still needs to do farming for extra income.
Employees of SM City Rosales welcome the family with lots of surprises. They were conferred with P10K-worth cash. SM affiliates – SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, Watsons, SM Appliance, Ace Hardware, and tenants – National Bookstore, Blue Magic, Tomsworld, and Reotutar’s Garden showered them with gifts comprise of food, clothing, school supplies and cash and gift certificates when they toured around the mall.
The kids and their family were also given a holiday dinner treat at Jollibee and McDonalds. Their Christmas gift was capped with a fireworks display.
Ms. Coller burst in tears as she was not expecting these Christmas treat for the kids. “I thought SM Management will just bring the kids here (SM Rosales) but they did more than that”, she cried.
Engr. Mendoza stated that the said project is part of SM Supermalls advocacy in extending support for nearby communities.

CHRISTMAS SURPRISES: SM City Rosales planned lots of surprises to the three indigent siblings and their family. Aside from granting the kid’s wish to go to SM, SM City Rosales and their Affiliates and tenants make the experience of the kids memorable by preparing gifts as they toured around the mall.
