SAGIP: Children's Storybook Writing Contest
PTC-CSJ Foundation and The Outlooke Pointe Foundation invite you to join SAGIP Children's Storybook Competition, a writing contest in an effort to promote environmental preservation through literature.
This contest is open to writers and non-writers of all ages. Submit a 500-750 word children's story on the theme SAVING OUR SEAS. Download the mechanics and application form at www.theopf.org. Deadline of submissions is on November 30, 2009.
The winner will receive P40,000, a trophy and gifts. The winning book will be published and donated to the various public schools around the Philippines, to enhance their English Literacy Program, and will also be sold at Powerbooks.
